The
Standard Model 77
The countertop water filters pictured on this page are four
versions of the same thing. They have in common that they
all accept the standard 9.75 X 2.5-inch filter cartridge, the most
widely used cartridge in the industry. This is important because
it gives you a broad range of filtration choices. Every major
filter maker makes cartridges that will fit these units.
When you order a Model 77, you will have a choice of the most
popular
cartridges, and if you want to pursue the issue, call and we'll
give you some more options. There are many.
Our all-time best seller by a long way is first filter
pictured, the standard low-ribbed white vessel. We call it "The
King" because of its unchallenged popularity. It's so
sturdy you can convert it to undersink use in the future should
you choose.
The other white filter is a lighter, smooth vessel with lots
of class. We call it the Continental. (We've forgotten
why.)
The Blue model is attractive and practical (men like
it because it doesn't
show dirt). It's a heavy, sturdy vessel, also suitable for undersink conversion. It's shown with a black base, but we
may send it with white because black countertop bases are
getting harder to find. (If a white base is unacceptable, please
tell us so in the comments section of the order form.)
The Clear unit is an attractive, smooth lightweight
that takes its color from the filter cartridge inside.
It's pictured here with a blue Di-Tech cartridge. It looks white with the
standard MatriKX cartridge.
Please note that all countertop units come equipped with
filter cartridges. You don't need to order replacements
when you order the unit, but you can save shipping charges if
you do.
