1986. In 1989 we started buying parts and making our own version of the
popular plastic-vessel countertop with the standard ten-inch
cartridge. We called it Model 77, because it cost

filter.” Our first offering was a plain vanilla model with a
generic carbon block filter cartridge.
Since that time we’ve expanded Model 77 to include
more colors and vessel styles, added much better filtration cartridges
and accessory parts, and given it a lifetime guarantee. But the
price is still just $77. Now there can be no doubt that it’s

In addition to the
standard-sized classic style, we’ve got a slimline version, which we call
Model 77S. And we’ve got double-filter versions of both styles. They’re
all great performers and they’re all guaranteed for life. The
double versions cost $134, and all of the
single filters are still
just $77.
